Job summary

Konecranes seeks an LLE AME Application Engineer to lead the technical application of Light Lifting Equipment across the Americas. You will translate customer requirements into safe, compliant, end-to-end material handling solutions and provide local second-level technical support to AME sales streams.

You will work with factory teams, suppliers and sales to finalize offers, drawings and documentation, traveling as needed to support installations and field activities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Civil or Structural Engineering or related field.
• Typically 3+ years of application engineering or related experience.
• Experience with CAD tools and crane/hoist configuration is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead application engineering for standard, configured and custom LLE opportunities from concept to order.
• Interpret customer processes, duty requirements and constraints; propose practical LLE solutions.
• Prepare concepts, layouts, calculations, and cost inputs for proposals and estimates.
• Own and resolve complex local support cases; share reusable knowledge.
• Coordinate with factory and teams to ensure clear documentation through order fulfilment.
