Job summary

Sentara Health is seeking a part-time Registered Nurse for a physician practice/ambulatory clinic, with remote work options. The RN will assess patients, assist with procedures, administer meds and vaccines, and coordinate care across the care team. Strong emphasis on nurse-led triage, education, and population health outreach.

Applicants should hold an ADN with RN licensure in the state and NCLEX-RN completed; BSN is preferred. Ambulatory nursing experience is desirable.

Qualifications

• ADN required for RN licensure in the state.
• BSN preferred.
• RN license active in state; NCLEX-RN must be passed.
• AMB-BC certification preferred.
• Ambulatory/clinic nursing experience is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care in physician practice or ambulatory clinic.
• Assess patients and assist with examinations and procedures.
• Administer medications and immunizations.
• Coordinate referrals and follow-up with physicians and staff.
• Maintain clinical documentation in EHR and support population health outreach.
