Job summary

Novartis Group of Companies is hiring an Access & Reimbursement Manager to support key accounts remotely and in the field across an assigned geography. This role focuses on education, reimbursement, coverage, and patient support resources to help patients access prescribed therapies.

The ARM collaborates with healthcare providers, billing teams, and cross-functional partners to resolve reimbursement challenges, integrate programs into workflows, and improve patient and provider experiences.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree from a 4-year college or university.
• 3+ years in reimbursement, market access, managed care, clinical support or related healthcare.
• Experience with specialty pharmacy networks or specialty access channels.
• Knowledge of coding, billing, claims, and patient support programs.
• Willingness to travel 60-80% within broad geography; valid driver's license required.

Responsibilities

• Partner with healthcare providers, practice leaders, billing teams, and other stakeholders to support patient access to prescribed therapies and treatment-related resources.
• Deliver education and guidance on access, reimbursement, coverage, and patient support programs, integrating resources into office workflows.
• Serve as a resource for questions related to product acquisition, ordering, payment, inventory management, and return processes.
• Collaborate with customer accounts to navigate reimbursement, claims, prior authorization, denial, appeal, and coverage-related challenges; identify practical solutions for patient access.
• Monitor changes in payer policies and reimbursement trends affecting patients, providers, and internal stakeholders.
• Support patient assistance and co-pay programs to help patients start and stay on therapy.
• Partner with Patient Support Services to resolve access issues, track cases, and educate to enhance the customer experience.
• Develop and execute account-specific access and reimbursement plans across diverse healthcare settings.
