Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required from 4-year college or university.
• 3+ years of experience in reimbursement, market access, managed care, clinical support, pharmaceutical sales, or a related healthcare environment.
• Experience supporting specialty pharmacy products through specialty networks or other access channels.
• Knowledge of coding, billing, claims and patient support programs.
• Experience partnering with specialty pharmacies and navigating access considerations across the patient journey.
• Understanding buy-and-bill reimbursement pathways and payment processes.
• Experience working with injection networks or provider-administered therapies.
• Reside within territory or reasonable commuting distance; travel 60-80%; valid driver's license.

Responsibilities

• Partner with healthcare providers and billing teams to support patient access to therapies.
• Deliver education on access, reimbursement, coverage, and patient programs.
• Serve as a resource for product acquisition, ordering, and payment processes.
• Navigate payer policies, denial/appeal processes, and coverage challenges.
• Monitor payer policy changes and reimbursement trends affecting patients and providers.
• Support patient assistance and co-pay programs to maintain therapy.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve access issues and track cases.
• Develop account-specific access plans including buy-and-bill and site-of-care considerations.
