Job summary

Guardian Alarm is seeking a Field Support Specialist to train on new technologies and provide remote and on-site assistance to Installation, Service and Customer Operations teams.

You will troubleshoot alarm systems, manage tickets and calls, document changes, and stay current with equipment through ongoing training. Associates degree and 4+ years in related work required; ability to lift 15 pounds and work at a desk for long periods. Strong communication and problem-solving skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Associates degree or equivalent experience is required.
• 4+ years of related experience in alarm/security systems preferred.
• 3+ years of experience troubleshooting, installing, and/or servicing alarm systems.
• Physical ability to lift up to 15 pounds and sit at a desk for long periods.

Responsibilities

• Provide remote support to field technicians via phone and remote programming.
• Train staff on new technologies for field services.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to burglary, fire alarm systems, and home automation.
• Manage tickets and customer emails throughout the day.
• Document product changes in customer records and coordinate actions for order updates.
• Stay current with training on Guardian Alarm equipment and standards.
