Job summary

Guardian Alarm is seeking a Field Support Specialist to train and support field technicians across Installation, Service and Customer Operations. This role requires on-site presence and strong technical communication.

You will troubleshoot and resolve issues remotely when possible, manage tickets, and stay current with new equipment and programming. An associate degree and 4+ years of related experience are required.

Qualifications

• Associates degree or equivalent experience required.
• Excellent verbal and written communication for customer interactions.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities with attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Support field technicians remotely and coordinate with Installation, Service and Customer Operations teams.
• Research, troubleshoot and provide accurate solutions for alarm systems issues.
• Handle tickets, phone calls and emails with timely data entry to customer accounts.
• Train customers and internal staff on new equipment and programming changes.
• Stay current with new Guardian Alarm equipment and software; document changes.
• Explain technical concepts clearly to customers and internal teams.
