Job summary

Aviation Technology Associates (AVTECH Global) is seeking an Aircraft Sustainment / Liaison Engineer to support line maintenance and depot operations for USAF bases. The role combines on-site engineering support with occasional remote collaboration and monthly travel.

Responsibilities include providing technical dispositions for structural repairs, interpreting Technical Orders, coordinating with the USAF Program Office, and developing standard repairs to reduce repetitive ETARs.

Qualifications

• BS degree in Aeronautical, Aerospace, Mechanical or Structural Engineering.
• 2+ years in a specific technical discipline.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical dispositions for structural repairs and guidance beyond published limits.
• Interpret service documents and Technical Orders.
• Coordinate repairs vs. replacements to minimize cost.
• Assist on-site with engineering for significantly damaged aircraft.
• Coordinate with USAF Program Office for action and follow-up.
• Develop typical repairs and manuals to reduce repetitive ETARs.
• Ensure compliance with FAA regulations through policy development.
