Job summary

AVTECH Global is seeking an Aircraft Line Support Engineer to provide liaison engineering for aircraft line maintenance operations. Responsibilities include technical dispositions for structural issues, interpretation of service documents, and coordination with Engineering Fleet Groups for timely fixes.

The ideal candidate has a BS in Engineering and at least two years of related experience, with strong communication and knowledge of FARs/FAA policies.

Qualifications

• BS degree in Aeronautical, Aerospace, Mechanical, or Structural Engineering.
• Minimum 2 years in a related technical discipline.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical dispositions (via Engineering Authorizations) for structural issues.
• Interpret service documents & Engineering Orders.
• Offer repair vs replacement options to minimize cost.
• Assist Line Maintenance with aircraft system troubleshooting.
• Attend daily production and pre-induction meetings for timely support.
• Coordinate with Engineering Fleet Groups for action and follow-up.
• Monitor trends and develop typical repairs to reduce repetitive BA requests.
