Job summary

Aviation Technology Associates, LLC is seeking an experienced Aircraft Certification Engineer - Propulsion to support the certification of military commercial derivative aircraft. This role requires a Bachelor's degree in aerospace or mechanical engineering, at least 15 years of experience in aircraft certification related to propulsion, and strong knowledge of FAA regulations. The position is remote, requiring monthly travel to Dayton, OH for 3-4 days. All travel costs will be covered.

Qualifications

• 15+ years of experience in aircraft certification for propulsion.
• Involvement in FAA type or supplemental type certificate (STC) programs.
• FAA Designated Engineering Representative (DER) authorization preferred.

Responsibilities

• Support airworthiness certification of MCDA aircraft.
• Ensure compliance with FAA regulations and military standards.
• Develop and execute certification plans.
