Aviation Technology Associates, LLC is looking for an experienced Aircraft Certification Engineer — Aerodynamics to support the airworthiness certification of a military commercial derivative aircraft. This remote position requires significant experience in FAA regulations, particularly Title 14 CFR Part 25, and involves developing and executing certification plans while ensuring compliance with military and FAA standards. Monthly travel to Dayton, OH is required for 3-4 days for collaboration and certification approval processes, with all travel expenses covered.

Qualifications

• 15+ years of experience in aircraft certification related to aerodynamics.
• Prior experience with military commercial derivative aircraft preferred.
• Ability to pass a Tier 1 Investigation for DoD contracts.

Responsibilities

• Provide SME understanding of aerodynamic model development.
• Develop, review, and execute certification plans for MCDA programs.
• Coordinate approval activities with military authorities.
