Job summary

Scale Army Careers is seeking a Maintenance Ops Coordinator to plan, coordinate, and track aircraft maintenance for fleet reliability and regulatory compliance. You will partner with Maintenance, Flight Operations, vendors, and leadership to manage schedules, inspections, and repair events while minimizing downtime.

Fully remote in the United States, 9:00 AM - 5:00 PM EST. Ideal candidates have 3–5 years in aircraft maintenance planning with Part 135/91 exposure and strong organizational,

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of experience in aircraft maintenance planning or coordination.
• Experience with Part 135 or Part 91 operations is preferred.
• Knowledge of FAA maintenance regulations and airworthiness requirements.
• Ability to coordinate with maintenance vendors, repair stations and OEMs.
• Strong documentation and recordkeeping for maintenance events.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain maintenance schedules based on utilization, flight hours, calendar intervals, and regulatory requirements.
• Monitor upcoming inspections and maintenance events to ensure airworthiness.
• Coordinate scheduled maintenance to minimize downtime and disruption.
• Create detailed maintenance work packages for planned events.
• Coordinate with maintenance facilities, repair stations, OEMs, and third-party vendors.
• Obtain and evaluate maintenance estimates and completion timelines.
• Track progress and communicate status to internal stakeholders.
• Escalate delays and work with vendors to maintain schedules.
