Job summary

Retell AI is seeking a Customer Success Engineer for a long-term 1099 contract. The role is remote and will support enterprise deployments of AI voice agents.

You will collaborate with Engineering, Product, and Customer Success teams to onboard customers, design integrations, and troubleshoot deployments. The ideal candidate has 2–8 years of experience in customer-facing technical roles and can work overlapping Pacific Time hours.

Qualifications

• Requires a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or related field.
• 2-8 years of professional experience in related roles.
• Strong technical problem-solving skills.
• Experience with APIs and debugging technical issues.
• Strong communication skills and ability to explain technical concepts clearly.
• Must be available to work some overlapping hours with Pacific Time-based team and customers.

Responsibilities

• Support technical onboarding and deployment for enterprise customers.
• Help customers launch and scale AI voice agents.
• Build AI voice agents alongside customers, design conversation flows and deployment strategies.
• Debug APIs, webhooks, SIP, telephony, authentication, integrations, and latency issues; troubleshoot production deployments.
• Work directly in customer codebases when needed.
• Identify product gaps from customer feedback and translate into improvements; collaborate with Product and Engineering teams.
• Assist customers in launching new AI use cases and expand product adoption.
