Job summary

Point is hiring a Technical Lead Manager to steer the AI-enabled CX team. You’ll stay hands-on, set technical direction, and collaborate with Product, Ops, and CX to deliver scalable, real-time AI agents that customers interact with.

You will lead a small senior team, define architecture, and drive reliability and observability across the AI stack while mentoring engineers and shaping the roadmap.

Qualifications

7+ years in software engineering and 2+ years leading teams.
Proven experience shipping AI-powered, conversational systems.
Ability to translate business needs into scalable technical solutions.
Strong systems design and observability focus.
Experience evaluating vendors and build-vs-buy decisions.

Responsibilities

Define the AI technical strategy for CX, including frameworks and vendors.
Own the AI-powered customer experience roadmap (voice, chat, email, SMS).
Write code, review PRs, prototype agent capabilities, debug issues.
Partner with Product, CX, and Ops to ship AI-driven workflows.
Establish success metrics and use data to prioritize the roadmap.
Design production-scale agent architectures with guardrails and fallbacks.
Lead and grow a small senior engineering team and remove blockers.
Drive observability and reliability using Langfuse and related tools.
