Job summary

Point is hiring a Technical Lead Manager to steer a senior team building AI agents across voice, email, chat, and SMS. You’ll stay hands-on, set the technical direction, and partner with Product, Ops, and CX to ship impactful AI features.

This hybrid Palo Alto role focuses on scalable architectures, production reliability, and measurable business impact, with a strong emphasis on mentorship and growth of the engineering team.

Qualifications

• 7+ years in software engineering with production systems.
• 2+ years leading or managing engineering teams.
• Experience shipping LLM-powered or agentic systems.
• End-to-end product delivery from design to deployment.
• Ability to align tech strategy with business goals.

Responsibilities

• Define AI technical strategy for CX and vendor solutions.
• Own technical roadmap for AI-powered customer experiences.
• Write code, review PRs, prototype agent capabilities.
• Collaborate with Product, CX, Ops to automate workflows.
• Set success metrics and prioritize the roadmap.
• Design scalable agent architectures for production.
• Lead and grow a small senior engineering team.
• Drive observability and reliability of the AI stack.
