Job summary

Checkly is a remote-first DevTools SaaS company delivering synthetic monitoring. As a Support Engineer, you’ll help our most valuable customers resolve complex issues, learn from each interaction, and feed improvements back to product and engineering.

You’ll work asynchronously with modern tooling (Plain, Linear, Mintlify), own the docs, and collaborate with developers to turn tickets into reliable fixes and thoughtful features.

Qualifications

Empathy and strong customer service mindset.
Experience in a technical role (developer or support).
Ability to read and debug JavaScript, TypeScript and Node.js.
Familiarity with REST APIs, browser dev tools, Git and CI/CD.
AI is already part of daily workflow; familiarity with related tools.
Clear, friendly English communication.

Responsibilities

Resolve customer issues, reproduce problems and document steps.
Improve AI-supported support processes and handoffs to humans.
Turn tickets into product improvements and bug fixes.
Own the docs to ensure consistent answers for customers and AI.
Work with modern tooling such as Plain, Linear and Mintlify.
