Job summary

GuidePoint Security LLC is seeking an AI Security Engineer to join the AI Security Services team. You will assist customers in designing and securing generative AI solutions, working with cross-functional teams across AppSec, Cloud Security, and Vulnerability Management.

You will evaluate AI systems, lead threat modeling, advise on secure integration with OpenAI, Azure OpenAI, Bedrock, and manage data protection and privacy controls.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in security engineering with cloud security or AppSec.
• Hands-on experience with Agentic AI solutions in an enterprise context.
• Familiar with major cloud AI services: AWS Bedrock, SageMaker, Azure AI Foundry, Google Vertex.
• Proficiency in Python.
• Solid understanding of generative AI concepts, LLMs, context engineering, agentic tool usage.
• Experience with agentic coding assistants like Claude Code, Open Code, Cursor, or Codex.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Experience applying security principles to AI implementations, including data protection and threat modeling.

Responsibilities

• Advise on the security posture of AI/ML systems, including LLMs and model serving infrastructure.
• Lead threat modeling exercises for AI workloads and supply chain risks.
• Provide secure integration guidance for SaaS AI services into enterprise applications.
• Evaluate data ingestion pipelines, RAG architectures, and vector databases for security.
• Collaborate with business stakeholders, AI/ML engineers, IT operations, and information security teams.
• Stay current on AI threat landscape, regulatory developments, and vendor advisories.
• Produce and maintain security architecture documentation, risk assessments, control frameworks, and guidelines.
• Contribute to long-term AI security strategy and remediation roadmaps.
