Cybersecurity Jobs is seeking a Lead, Application Security to guide Amazon's Generative AI services. You will set strategy, scale secure review processes, and mentor a team focused on GenAI risk across AI-powered applications.

Responsibilities include directing GenAI security reviews, coordinating with data science and ML engineering, improving threat modeling and tooling, and delivering clear documentation for technical and non-technical audiences.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience managing and developing teams.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or a related field.
• Knowledge of security practices for web services, cryptography, networks, and operating system security.
• Experience applying threat modeling or other risk identification techniques to both traditional and AI-powered applications.
• Understanding of Generative AI, large language models, and AI application architectures.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop a team of Security Engineers and TPMs for AppSec across GenAI services.
• Set strategic direction for GenAI application security reviews, prioritizing LLM integrations and prompt design.
• Partner with AI/ML teams to drive security initiatives and align with leadership.
• Improve GenAI security review processes and threat modeling for AI systems.
• Coordinate cross-team execution across data science, ML engineering, and product groups.
• Create high-quality documentation on GenAI security topics for technical and non-technical audiences.
• Advance automation, tooling, and security processes to scale reviews.
• Stay current on GenAI security threats and vulnerabilities, including prompt injection and model security.
