Job summary

GuidePoint Security is seeking an Azure Security Engineer to design, implement, and secure customer Azure infrastructure in a remote customer-facing role. You will work on cloud security posture, identity management, and secure API management across Azure Commercial and Gov tenants.

The role emphasizes SME-level expertise in Azure AI Foundry, APIM, and zero-trust security, with opportunities to mentor teams and influence security strategy for multiple clients.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree and 5+ years of experience building or managing cloud environments in medium to large companies.
• Azure certification such as Azure Solutions Architect Expert or similar preferred.
• Proficiency with Azure services including Entra ID, Azure Virtual Networks/Machines, AKS, Key Vault, Private Link/Private Endpoint.

Responsibilities

• Design secure Azure cloud solutions with a secure-by-design approach.
• Collaborate with customer IT teams to implement and secure cloud resources according to policies and best practices.
• Develop and implement scalable Azure architecture and migration strategies for Azure Commercial or Azure Gov environments.
• Develop and deploy infrastructure as code (IaC) using Terraform, ARM templates, or Bicep.
