Job summary

EPAM Systems seeks an AI leader to drive innovation and delivery across our Insurance portfolio. You’ll oversee the full lifecycle of AI solutions, from ideation to production, shaping strategy, leading multidisciplinary teams, and building new capabilities in a fast-evolving market.

You will lead end-to-end data science and AI programs while mentoring team members and collaborating with stakeholders. The role emphasizes hands-on leadership, client engagement, and development of market-ready

Qualifications

• 10+ years leading data science or ML teams in insurance or re/insurance.
• 5+ years in a leadership role with team management.
• Ability to explain complex concepts to diverse audiences.
• Hands-on in one domain: CV, NLP, recommender systems or time series.
• ML engineering and production delivery including ML/LLMOps on cloud.
• Knowledge of Databricks, Snowflake or agentic orchestration tools.
• Proficient in Python; strong SDLC for AI products.
• Consulting experience in professional services.
