Job summary

Runpod, an AI Developer Cloud, is seeking a Technical Program Manager to lead complex cross-functional programs across product and platform teams. You will collaborate with engineering leads to plan, schedule, and execute initiatives that scale GPU infrastructure across regions.

The ideal candidate has hands-on experience with distributed systems, cloud fundamentals, and strong communication. This remote-first role emphasizes ownership, clarity, and impact in a fast-paced AI infrastructure

Qualifications

• 3+ years in technical program management or software/infrastructure engineering leading cloud/infrastructure programs.
• Hands-on experience with production distributed systems and understanding of consistency/availability tradeoffs.
• Familiarity with cloud fundamentals: compute, networking, storage, containers/orchestration, multi-region.
• Ability to read architecture docs and discuss reliability, latency, and capacity with senior engineers.
• Experience with observability (metrics/logging/tracing, SLOs, incident response) guiding decisions.
• Proven track record delivering multiple high-impact programs across 3+ cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities

• Partner with engineering leads to understand squad architecture and plan execution reflecting system behavior.
• Own planning and delivery for complex, multi-team programs: scope, sequencing, dependencies, timelines.
• Identify technical risks early and drive mitigation before reaching customers.
• Participate in design/architecture reviews, surface gaps in rollout plans and observability.
• Drive launch readiness and safe rollout, including staged releases and rollback plans.
• Serve as primary point of contact for stakeholders with clear status updates and risk guidance.
• Define and track success metrics with Data, Product, and Engineering leads.
• Coordinate with SRE to monitor system health and balance reliability with scale.
• Coordinate capacity changes with Supply and Data Center teams; drive improvements post-launch.
