Job summary

Scale Army co is seeking an AI Forward-Deployed Engineer for remote work overlapping US Eastern hours. You will build the data layer, access controls, and resilient pipelines behind existing prototypes while collaborating with the M&A, marketing, COO, and CFO teams, plus an outsourced IT provider.

The role focuses on M&A tooling, brand rollout tracking, and cloud-based data processing, with emphasis on Python/TypeScript, SQL, REST APIs, and front-end work using React.

Qualifications

• 3+ years building internal tools, integrations, or data plumbing.
• Experience writing, reviewing, and debugging production code in Python or TypeScript.
• Experience with SQL and REST API integrations.
• Experience building front ends using React or similar tech.
• Cloud deployment, preferably Azure.
• Experience with Git and CI pipelines.
• Experience with Microsoft 365 platform.
• Experience with LLM APIs in production.
• Experience with document processing at volume.

Responsibilities

• Build data plumbing and integrations to support M&A tooling and brand rollout.
• Develop REST APIs, OAuth2, pagination, retries and idempotency.
• Create front ends with React and integrate Azure services.
• Work with SQL Server, Postgres or Azure SQL and data reconciliation.
• Implement brand asset engine and approval workflows.
• Collaborate with CFO, COO, M&A and marketing for data-driven decisions.
