Job summary

Cayuse Holdings is seeking an AI Native Engineer (Context Engineer / Harness Engineer) to build features, agents, and MCP integrations using Claude Code, under the guidance of senior engineers. This is a remote, independent contractor role with an ASAP start and a 6-8 month renewable term.

Qualifications

• Professional English fluency, written and verbal.
• AI-enabled and hands-on with Claude Code (or comparable agentic tooling).
• Timezone overlap of at least 5 hours with PST working hours (8am–6pm PST).
• Hands-on AWS delivery is required for the engineering roles

Responsibilities

• Builds and maintains harness components (retrieval, tool invocation, evaluation, observability) under review, and contributes improvements back to the shared base harness.
• Works through architecture- and systems-level problems under senior review as the path to progression
