Job summary

Cayuse Holdings is seeking an AI Native Engineer for a remote contract role. You will build and maintain harness components, integrating Claude Code and related tools within an architecture guided by senior engineers.

The position requires hands-on AWS delivery, strong TypeScript/JavaScript skills, and experience with cloud services. This independent contract runs 6–8 months with renewal options and PST-hours overlap.

Qualifications

• Tech: Claude Code, React/TypeScript/JavaScript/Node.js front end, Python and backend data engineering, AWS (Lambda, S3, DynamoDB, Step Functions, API Gateway, Bedrock), Terraform, Playwright, Azure DevOps.
• Professional English fluency, written and verbal.
• AI-enabled and hands-on with Claude Code (or comparable agentic tooling).
• Timezone overlap of at least 5 hours with PST working hours (8am–6pm PST).
• Hands-on AWS delivery is required for the engineering roles.

Description

AI Native Engineer (Context Engineer / Harness Engineer) A hands-on builder who implements features, agents, skills, and MCP integrations using Claude Code, working within an architecture defined by senior and principal engineers.
