Job summary

Cayuse Holdings is seeking an AI Native Engineer to design and implement features and agents, leveraging Claude Code within an architecture guided by senior engineers. The role focuses on hands-on development for harness components, with emphasis on retrieval, tool invocation, evaluation, and observability.

You will work on architecture- and systems-level challenges under senior review, contributing to the shared base harness and advancing toward higher levels of competency.

Qualifications

• Hands-on with Claude Code or comparable agentic tooling.
• Fluent professional English, written and verbal.
• Timezone overlap of at least 5 hours with PST working hours (8am–6pm PST).
• Hands-on AWS delivery is required for engineering roles.

Overview

AI Native Engineer (Context Engineer / Harness Engineer) A hands-on builder who implements features, agents, skills, and MCP integrations using Claude Code, working within an architecture defined by senior and principal engineers.

Responsibilities

Qualifications

• Tech: Claude Code, React / TypeScript / JavaScript / Node.js front end, Python and backend data engineering, AWS (Lambda, S3, DynamoDB, Step Functions, API Gateway, Bedrock), Terraform, Playwright, Azure DevOps.
• Professional English fluency, written and verbal.
• AI-enabled and hands-on with Claude Code (or comparable agentic tooling).
• Timezone overlap of at least 5 hours with PST working hours (8am–6pm PST).
• Hands-on AWS delivery is required for the engineering roles

Pay Range

USD $70.00 - USD $100.00 /Hr.
