Job summary

CSAA Insurance Group is hiring a Model Risk Advisor - Remote to strengthen AI governance and model risk management across the enterprise. You will drive policy adoption, maintain model inventories, and monitor controls to close gaps.

You will partner with risk teams, auditors, and suppliers, while managing governance practices and regulatory expectations for AI and GenAI. Strong communication and 4+ years in model risk are expected.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of model risk management, risk, and audit experience.
• Bachelor's degree in computer science, information management, data science or related field.
• Experience in AI model governance, risk management, or audit is required.

Responsibilities

• Promote governance practices and align AI policies and standards.
• Maintain inventory of AI/ML/GenAI models with ownership and metadata.
• Assess risk based on complexity, regulatory needs, and usage.
• Implement and maintain risk management frameworks with stakeholders.
• Monitor controls, KRIs, and compliance with policies and standards.
• Support model validation, scope, results, and recommendations.
• Participate in governance oversight, audits, and risk assessments.
• Develop reporting and executive insights on AI governance and risk.
• Collaborate with risk, auditors, and external suppliers on governance docs.
• Monitor evolving regulatory expectations related to AI and model risk.
