Job summary

CSAA Insurance Group is hiring a Model Risk Advisor to oversee AI governance, model risk management, and regulatory compliance across a remote U.S. footprint. The role collaborates with Enterprise Risk, auditors, and internal teams to strengthen governance and risk controls.

The candidate will establish model inventories, evaluate risks, and support validation activities while promoting ethical AI practices and policy adherence across the organization.

Qualifications

• Requires knowledge of governance principles and risk management in AI.
• Experience with compliance monitoring or auditing.
• Ability to communicate complex AI governance topics clearly.
• Proven ability to deploy AI model governance at scale.
• Certification in Model Risk Management or similar is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Promote awareness and adoption of AI governance policies and standards.
• Maintain inventory of models with ownership, risk ratings and metadata.
• Assess risk by complexity, regulatory requirements, and usage for AI activities.
• Define scope for model validation and communicate findings.
• Develop reporting and executive insights on model risk and controls.
