Job summary

Outlier is seeking detail-oriented English speakers to review AI-generated media. You will hold live conversations with AI voice models, compare image and video pairs, and explain in writing what looked off, all remotely and on your own schedule.

At Outlier, your evaluations help shape how advanced AI systems reason, learn, and improve. This is a remote, freelance opportunity with flexible hours and up to $15/hr, plus additional incentives.

Qualifications

• Fluent English, strong written communication sufficient for detailed reviews.
• Excellent attention to detail and ability to replay/zoom in during evaluations.
• Experience writing short, evidence-based explanations or reviews.
• Able to make clear decisions when both options have flaws.

Responsibilities

• Holding live conversations in English with AI voice models.
• Ranking naturalness, usefulness, and clarity of responses.
• Comparing AI-generated images and videos to prompts.
• Writing explanations in English detailing issues found.
• Spotting problems like distortions, flickering, or audio-video mismatches.
