Job summary

Outlier is seeking detail-oriented English speakers to review AI-generated media on a flexible, remote schedule. You’ll hold live conversations with an AI voice model, compare image and video pairs, and explain what’s off, all remotely and on a freelance basis.

At Outlier, your expertise helps shape how advanced AI systems reason, learn, and improve, by reviewing outputs and providing written, evidence-based explanations. This is a 1099 contract opportunity with payments on a weekly basis.

Qualifications

• Fluent English and clear written communication are essential.
• High attention to detail and patience to replay or zoom in when something seems off.
• Experience writing short, evidence-based explanations or reviews.
• Comfortable making clear decisions when both options have flaws.
• Nice to have: pursuing or holding a Bachelor's degree or above.

Responsibilities

• Holding live, scenario-based conversations in English with AI voice models.
• Ranking naturalness and usefulness of AI outputs and explaining reasoning.
• Comparing AI-generated images and videos and judging adherence to prompts.
• Inspecting outputs to spot issues like artifacts, distortions, or mismatches.
