Job summary

Outlier is seeking detail-oriented English speakers to review AI-generated media. You will hold live conversations with AI voice models, score exchanges, and explain in writing what looked or sounded off, all remotely and on your schedule.

At Outlier, your work helps shape how advanced AI systems reason and improve. You’ll evaluate images, videos, and audio, then provide precise explanations in English while earning up to $18 USD/hr with flexible, remote hours.

Qualifications

• Fluent English with strong written communication.
• Excellent attention to detail and ability to replay/zoom in when something seems off.
• Experience writing short, evidence-based explanations or reviews.
• Comfortable making clear decisions when both options have flaws.

Responsibilities

• Holding live, scenario-based conversations in English with AI voice models, then ranking how natural, useful, and clear each one sounded.
• Comparing pairs of AI-generated images and videos and judging which one better follows the prompt.
• Inspecting outputs closely (zooming in, replaying) to spot problems like distorted anatomy, flickering, text errors, and audio-video mismatches.
• Rating each output across dimensions like adherence, quality, and realism, then writing a specific explanation in English.
