Job summary

Outlier offers a remote opportunity to review AI-generated media by conducting live conversations with AI voice models and evaluating image/video outputs. You’ll rank naturalness and adherence to prompts while writing concise explanations, all on your own schedule and from home.

Ideal candidates are fluent in English, detail-oriented, and capable of clear, evidence-based explanations. This freelance role is remote with flexible hours and pay up to $15 per hour.

Qualifications

• Fluent English speaker with clear written communication.
• Great attention to detail and the ability to replay or zoom in when something seems off.
• Nice to have: pursuing or holding a Bachelor’s degree or above.
• Comfortable thinking on your feet and explaining scenarios in a natural, conversational way.
• Experience writing short, evidence-based explanations or reviews.
• Able to make a clear decision when both options have flaws.

Responsibilities

• Holding a live, scenario-based conversation in English with AI voice models, then ranking how natural, useful, and clear each one sounded.
• Comparing pairs of AI-generated images and videos and judging which follows the prompt.
• Inspecting outputs closely to spot problems like distorted anatomy, flickering or unnatural motion, text errors, and audio-video misalignments.
• Rating each output across dimensions like adherence, quality, and realism, then writing a specific explanation in English.
