Job summary

Outlier is hiring remote reviewers to assess AI-generated media by holding live conversations with AI voice models and scoring outputs for naturalness, usefulness, and adherence to prompts. You will compare image and video pairs and describe in writing what looked off, helping improve AI systems in real-world use.

Role is fully remote with flexible hours and is paid on a per-hour basis. This freelance contract offers weekly payments and access to leading language models for evaluation.

Qualifications

• Fluent English with strong written communication and ability to explain observations clearly.
• Great attention to detail and patience to review audio, video, and image outputs closely.
• Experience writing brief, evidence-based explanations or reviews.
• Comfortable making clear decisions when both options have flaws.
• Nice to have: pursuing or holding a Bachelor's degree or above.

Responsibilities

• Hold live conversations with AI voice models and rate naturalness and usefulness.
• Compare pairs of AI-generated images and videos and judge prompt adherence.
• Inspect outputs closely to spot issues like distorted visuals or misaligned audio.
• Write specific English explanations pointing to observed issues.
• Participate in image/video tasks and quality assessments across various projects.
