Job summary

Outlier is seeking detail-oriented English speakers to review AI-generated media. You will hold live conversations with AI voice models, compare image and video pairs, and explain what’s off, remotely and on your own schedule.

Responsibilities include ranking naturalness, usefulness, and clarity of outputs, inspecting for distortions, and writing concise explanations. This is a flexible, 1099 contract role with remote work from anywhere, including the United States and other eligible countries.

Qualifications

• Fluent English speaker with clear written communication.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to replay/zoom in when something seems off.
• Pursuing or holding a Bachelor's degree or above.
• Able to think on your feet and explain realistic situations clearly.
• Experience writing short, evidence-based explanations or reviews.

Responsibilities

• Holding live, scenario-based conversations in English with AI voice models and ranking how natural, useful, and clear each sounded.
• Comparing pairs of AI-generated images and videos and judging which follows the prompt better.
• Inspecting outputs closely (zooming in, replay) to spot problems like distorted anatomy, flickering, or mismatched audio.
• Rating outputs across dimensions (adherence, quality, realism) and writing a clear explanation of what was observed.
