Job summary

Outlier is inviting detail-focused English speakers to join as evaluators of AI-generated media. You will conduct live conversations with AI voice models, compare generated media, and write precise explanations of what’s off, all remotely and on your own schedule.

Responsibilities include scoring naturalness and usefulness, rating outputs, and providing written observations. This freelance role offers flexible hours and remote work with competitive pay and incentives.

Qualifications

• Fluent English speaker with strong, clear written communication.
• Excellent attention to detail and ability to replay or zoom in when something seems off.
• Nice to have: Pursuing or holding a Bachelor's degree or above.
• Comfortable thinking on your feet and explaining realistic scenarios clearly.
• Experience writing short, evidence-based explanations or reviews.

Responsibilities

• Holding a live, scenario-based conversation in English with AI voice models
• Ranking how natural, useful, and clear each one sounded
• Comparing pairs of AI-generated images and videos and judging which follows the prompt
• Inspecting outputs closely, including zooming in and replaying, to spot problems like distorted anatomy, flickering or unnatural motion, text errors, and audio that doesn't match the video
• Writing a specific explanation in English that points to what you saw or heard.
