Job summary

Outlier is hiring independent reviewers to spot what AI-generated media gets wrong. You will hold live conversations with AI voice models, compare image and video pairs, and explain in writing what’s off, all from home on your own schedule.

You’ll rate outputs across adherence, quality, and realism, and provide concise, evidence-based explanations. This is a flexible, remote 1099 contract opportunity with weekly pay and potential incentives.

Qualifications

• Fluent English speaker with strong written communication.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to replay or zoom in to assess content.
• Bachelor's degree or above preferred.
• Able to think on your feet and discuss realistic scenarios clearly.
• Experience writing concise, evidence-based explanations or reviews.
• Comfortable making a clear decision when both options have flaws.

Responsibilities

• Holding live, scenario-based conversations in English with AI voice models.
• Ranking how natural, useful, and clear each interaction sounded.
• Comparing pairs of AI-generated images and videos and judging prompt adherence.
• Inspecting outputs closely to spot problems like distorted anatomy, flicker, or audio-video mismatch.
• Rating outputs across dimensions and writing explanations in English.
