Job summary

Humana Inc. is seeking an AI Learning Design Lead to design and advance learning pathways that build role-based AI skills and support on-the-job application.

You will translate capability needs into practical learning experiences and guide design work across initiatives, collaborating with the Senior Learning Design Professional, business partners, SMEs, and the Enterprise Learning - AI Team. This is a remote role in Humana's VSP program; hours may vary and travel up to 10% may be required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in instructional design or related field.
• 8+ years designing and developing learning solutions.
• Experience translating needs into measurable learning objectives and sequences.
• Experience supporting AI, emerging tech, or digital transformation initiatives.
• Strong knowledge of adult learning, performance consulting, accessibility, assessment, and learning evaluation.
• Experience using AI-enabled learning tools (Articulate 360, Vyond, Adobe CC, Camtasia).
• Ability to guide design work, collaborate across functions, manage multiple projects.

Responsibilities

• Design learning pathways and translate skill needs into clear objectives and sequenced journeys.
• Lead design across digital, live, virtual, cohort-based, and experiential learning for AI skilling initiatives.
• Create and curate cohesive, role-relevant learning experiences.
• Apply adult learning and responsible AI practices to ensure quality.
• Collaborate with partners, AI product teams, SMEs, vendors, and learning colleagues.
• Coordinate work, manage timelines, reviews, and risks; propose practical solutions.
• Define measurement strategies using feedback, assessments, and performance data.
• Create reusable templates and standards to scale learning design.
