Job summary

Mechanics Bank is seeking an AI Catalyst to own the full lifecycle of innovation, from discovery to adoption. You will manage multi-unit relationships, create BRDs with AI help, and prioritize opportunities using an ALIGN framework.

In a Paired Innovation model, you will partner with AI Creators to translate business needs into actionable specifications and measurable outcomes. Remote work is offered with travel 0-10%.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years in product or business analysis or banking/financial services with process knowledge.
• 2+ years of demonstrated AI fluency and regular use of AI tools for business tasks.
• Strong requirements elicitation skills and ability to translate business needs into structured documentation.

Responsibilities

• Independently manage stakeholder relationships across multiple business units and lead discovery sessions.
• Produce BRDs using AI tools with clear requirements, success criteria, and business impact.
• Apply the ALIGN scoring framework to evaluate and prioritize opportunities for leadership.
• Partner with AI Creators in Paired Innovation to translate requirements into build specs.
• Demo POCs to stakeholders and gather feedback to validate needs are addressed.
• Present innovation proposals to senior leadership with ROI and MVP estimates.
• Own implementation follow-up and adoption tracking to ensure measurable value.
