Job summary

CSAA Insurance Group is hiring a Model Risk Advisor (Remote) to promote AI governance, manage model risk inventories, and support validation and audits across the enterprise. The role emphasizes collaboration, policy adherence, and continuous improvement of governance practices in a remote, nationwide setup.

Ideal candidates have 4+ years in model risk, strong communication skills, and a solid understanding of regulatory expectations, including privacy and security considerations in AI

Qualifications

• 4+ years of experience in model risk management, risk, and audit.
• Knowledge of compliance monitoring and/or auditing principles.
• Knowledge of privacy, security, and AI model governance standards.
• Ability to communicate complex topics in clear business terms.
• Experience deploying AI model governance across large enterprises.

Responsibilities

• Promote awareness and adoption of AI governance policies and standards.
• Establish inventory of AI/GenAI models with ownership and risk ratings.
• Assess model risk based on complexity, regulatory needs, and business impact.
• Develop and maintain Model Risk Management frameworks, controls and procedures.
• Monitor governance controls, KRIs, and policy compliance.
