Job summary

CSAA Insurance Group is seeking a Model Risk Advisor to drive AI governance across the enterprise in a remote capacity. You will promote governance policies, assess model risk, and support validation and audits while collaborating with risk, auditors, and IT teams.

The role emphasizes maintaining model inventories, monitoring controls, and delivering executive insights. Travel may be required to support governance activities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, information management, data science or a related field.
• Four years of work experience in AI Model governance, Model Risk Management, or Audit, information management can be substituted for degree.
• Knowledge of compliance monitoring and/or auditing principles.
• Ability to communicate technical and business information clearly about AI Model governance.

Responsibilities

• Promote AI governance policies, standards, and responsible AI practices.
• Establish and maintain inventory of AI/ML models with ownership, risk ratings, and metadata.
• Assess model risk based on complexity, regulatory requirements, and business impact.
• Develop reporting and metrics for executive insights on governance and risk.
