Job summary

Worldwide Clinical Trials seeks a Forward Deployed Engineer with a finance focus to build AI-powered tools for finance teams. You will partner with FP&A and Project Financial Analysts to accelerate close activities and improve financial analysis, using Databricks Genie, Python, and LLM tech.

This REMOTE role invites collaboration across time zones with a focus on governance and accurate financial controls, supporting analysts and decision-makers with scalable solutions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent in a related field.
• 2+ years with Databricks and data-driven solutions.
• 2+ years of LLM application engineering (prompt, context, retrieval, outputs, evaluation).
• 2+ years Python and full-stack development for production apps.
• 2+ years in Finance teams with FP&A, close, budgeting, forecasting, variance analysis.
• Experience with finance systems: NetSuite, Certinia, Workday Adaptive Planning.
• Familiarity with MS 365, Copilot; CRO/pharma services and SOX exposure preferred.
• Proficiency in English.

Responsibilities

• Build AI-assisted variance commentary and close-checklist solutions.
• Develop experiences using Databricks Genie and governed finance data.
• Partner with FP&A and Project Financial Analysts to deliver tools.
• Measure adoption, usage, and productivity gains.
• Create reconciliation capabilities while preserving controls.
• Design AI-enabled apps using Databricks, Python, and LLM tech.
• Ensure governance with separation between AI output and financial control.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to understand close cycles and reporting needs.
