Job summary

Outlier is seeking detail-oriented English speakers to review AI-generated media on a fully remote, freelance basis. You will roleplay live conversations with AI voice models, compare image and video outputs, and explain in writing what looked or sounded off, all on your own schedule.

Contributors help shape how advanced AI systems reason and learn by providing evaluations that feed back into real-world AI performance. Rates vary by project and expertise.

Qualifications

• Fluent English speaker with clear writing.
• Great attention to detail and the ability to replay or zoom in when something seems off.
• Experience writing short, evidence-based explanations or reviews.

Responsibilities

• Holding a live scenario-based conversation in English with AI voice models, then ranking how natural, useful, and clear each exchange sounded.
• Comparing pairs of AI-generated images and videos and judging which better follows the prompt.
• Inspecting outputs closely to spot problems like distorted anatomy, flickering or unnatural motion, text errors, and audio misalignment.
• Rating each output across dimensions like adherence, quality, and realism, then writing a focused English explanation.
