RapidSOS is seeking an AI Engineer to join the Voice AI team in building next-gen safety technology. You’ll own core capabilities end-to-end—from model behavior to backend architecture and evaluation tooling.

This role blends Python back-end work with a React/TypeScript frontend and real-time systems. You’ll work on end-to-end product delivery, improve conversational quality, safety, and reliability, and use automated evaluations and production metrics to drive improvements.

Formación

• 2–3+ years back-end or full-stack engineering shipping production software end to end.
• Hands-on experience building AI/LLM applications and solid fundamentals in distributed systems, APIs, and operational reliability.
• Real-time voice or conversational agent experience is a strong plus.
• Strong Python proficiency including async programming and frontend experience with TypeScript/React.

Responsabilidades

• End-to-end product delivery across real-time agent, APIs, web app, and cloud.
• Improve conversational quality: latency, turns, barge-in, multilingual behavior.
• Design fail-safes, resilience, and observability; address production issues.
• Build automated evaluations and metrics to identify regressions.
• Work across the stack: Python backend to React/TypeScript UI.
• Utilize AI tools daily while owning architecture and production decisions.
