Job summary

GE Aerospace seeks a Principal Software Engineer to design and build full-stack, AI-powered analytics applications for supply chain and operations. This senior, hands-on role will guide BI developers and platform architects while delivering production-grade cloud solutions.

Responsibilities include leading end-to-end development, embedding ML models and LLM APIs, mentoring engineers, and establishing engineering standards, CI/CD and secure-by-default practices.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related technical field.
• Minimum of 8 years of hands-on experience building and shipping full-stack applications to production.
• Experience embedding ML models, LLM APIs, and agentic workflows into production applications.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain full-stack applications across the full software lifecycle.
• Embed AI features and ML models into production applications.
• Lead and mentor junior engineers and BI developers.
• Establish CI/CD, testing, and code review practices for the team.
