Job summary

NUWAVE is a market leader in unified communications as a service and enterprise voice for Microsoft Teams. We are looking for an AI Engineer for a full-time, U.S.-remote role to help build and operate Nebula, NUWAVE's governed conversational AI workspace.

This hands-on engineering role works with the AI Infrastructure team to turn Jira issues into production changes, review AI coding agent outputs, and ensure design, tests, and deployments meet quality and security standards.

Qualifications

• Strong software engineering fundamentals with Python fluency.
• Hands-on experience with at least one major cloud platform (AWS or Azure).
• Practical experience using AI coding tools like Claude Code, Codex, Cursor, or similar.

Responsibilities

• Build, test, and maintain AI applications, cloud services, and supporting infrastructure for Nebula.
• Translate Jira issues and product requirements into scoped technical changes with clear acceptance criteria.
• Use AI coding agents to accelerate implementation while reviewing their output for correctness, security, and maintainability.
