Job summary

NUWAVE is seeking an AI Engineer to join our Nebula platform in a full-time, U.S.-remote role. You will build and operate a governed conversational AI workspace that combines GraphRAG, vector search, and agent workflows across the web and Microsoft Teams.

You will work closely with the Director of AI Infrastructure to translate Jira issues into verified production changes, use AI coding agents, write Python services, and review outputs for security and reliability.

Qualifications

• Strong software engineering fundamentals and fluency in Python.
• Hands-on experience with at least one major cloud platform (AWS or Azure).
• Experience using AI coding tools such as Claude Code, Codex, or similar agents.
• Demonstrated ownership: turn goals into plans and drive to completion.
• Strong Git, testing, deployment discipline, and traceable changes.

Responsibilities

• Build, test, and maintain AI applications, cloud services, and Nebula infrastructure.
• Translate Jira issues into scoped technical changes with clear acceptance criteria.
• Use AI coding agents while reviewing outputs for correctness and security.
• Develop Python services and contribute to TypeScript apps when needed.
• Operate workloads across AWS and Azure including serverless and containers.
