Job summary

Portless is hiring an AI Engineer to design, build and deploy intelligent systems that optimize supply-chain operations at scale. This fully remote role covers North America, with ~6h overlap with Eastern Time, and a competitive salary.

You will own the ML lifecycle, work with Python, PyTorch and TensorFlow, and collaborate with product and engineering to ship AI-powered features in a fast-growing e-commerce logistics space.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of AI/ML engineering experience.
• Strong Python and ML frameworks (PyTorch, TensorFlow).
• Experience deploying models to production.
• Must be authorised to work in the US (no sponsorship).
• Canada/Mexico candidates only if they already hold US work authorisation.

Responsibilities

• Build and deploy AI/ML models for logistics and e-commerce use cases.
• Work with LLMs, computer vision and predictive analytics.
• Collaborate with product and engineering to ship AI-powered features.
• Own the full ML lifecycle: data, training, evaluation, deployment.
• Monitor and improve model performance in production.
