Portless, a remote-first company in North America, is seeking an AI Engineer to design, build and deploy intelligent systems for scalable supply-chain automation. The role offers full-time, remote work with ~6h overlap across ET.

You will own the entire ML lifecycle, collaborating with product and engineering to ship AI-powered features. Requirements include 4+ years in AI/ML engineering, strong Python and ML frameworks (PyTorch, TensorFlow), and production deployment experience.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of AI/ML engineering experience.
• Strong Python and ML frameworks (PyTorch, TensorFlow).
• Experience deploying models to production.
• Authorized to work in the US (no sponsorship).

Responsibilities

• Build and deploy AI/ML models for logistics and e-commerce use cases.
• Work with LLMs, computer vision and predictive analytics.
• Collaborate with product and engineering to ship AI-powered features.
• Own the full ML lifecycle: data, training, evaluation, deployment.
• Monitor and improve model performance in production.
