ClassLink, Inc. is seeking an Associate Quality Engineer (IC1) to contribute to the delivery of secure, high-quality software.

This remote, early-career role collaborates with Engineering, Product, and Infrastructure teams to validate product functionality and ensure requirements are met. The role emphasizes analytical thinking, attention to detail, curiosity, and continuous learning, with opportunities to work across testing strategies and modern frameworks while benefiting from flexible remote

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in CS/IT/Software Engineering or related field, or equivalent combo of education and experience.
• 0–2 years of experience in software testing, QA, or related field.
• Foundational understanding of software testing methodologies, SDLC, and Agile development practices.
• Familiarity with manual testing techniques and interest in automated testing and quality engineering.
• Basic knowledge of automated testing frameworks, scripting languages, or programming fundamentals.
• Familiarity with AI-assisted testing tools, AI-enabled development workflows, or generative AI technologies used to support software engineering.
• Basic understanding of APIs, web applications, and modern software architectures.
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills with React/Agile teams.
• Demonstrated commitment to continuous learning and professional development.

Responsibilities

• Execute manual and automated testing to validate product functionality.
• Develop and maintain test cases, test data, and automated tests with appropriate coverage.
• Utilize AI-assisted testing tools to improve testing efficiency and documentation quality.
• Apply established QE practices and testing standards to ensure reliable, secure software.
