Job summary

ClassLink is hiring a Quality Engineer Lead 2 to drive AI-enabled testing, automation, and quality initiatives across the software development lifecycle. You will coach engineers, define standards, and collaborate with Product, Architecture, and Infrastructure to improve release readiness and delivery confidence.

The role emphasizes hands-on testing leadership, modern automation, and a culture of continuous improvement in a fully remote environment with quarterly in-person strategy meetings.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or related field, or equivalent experience.
• 7+ years of experience in software testing, quality engineering, or software engineering, including technical leadership responsibilities.
• 1-3 years of experience leading or mentoring engineering teams or technical initiatives.
• Strong expertise in quality engineering, automation frameworks, AI-assisted testing, and modern testing methodologies.
• Experience leading Agile teams through planning, delivery, release readiness, and continuous improvement.

Responsibilities

• Lead AI-assisted testing, intelligent automation, and modern quality practices across the team.
• Establish quality standards for AI-assisted testing, automation, and data observability.
• Guide the team in AI testing tools, agent orchestration, and prompt engineering.
• Mentor engineers and promote technical standards and continuous learning.
