Job summary

ClassLink, Inc. is seeking a Quality Engineer to independently support reliable, secure, and high-quality software across products.

You will design testing strategies, expand automated coverage, apply AI-enabled testing practices, and ensure quality throughout the software development lifecycle. You will collaborate with Engineering, Product, Infrastructure, Operations, and fellow Quality Engineers to validate requirements, share reusable testing assets, and mentor less experienced engineers.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in CS, IT, SE, or related field, or equivalent experience.
• 2–5 years of software testing, quality engineering, or test automation.
• Experience designing/testing strategies for web apps, APIs, or distributed systems.
• Proficiency with Playwright, Cypress, Selenium, or equivalent.
• Familiarity with Windows, macOS and Linux.
• Understanding of AI-assisted testing practices and modern DevOps.

Responsibilities

• Design and execute testing strategies balancing quality, speed, and objectives.
• Develop automated tests, data, and validation strategies for new features.
• Apply AI-assisted testing to AI-generated test cases and artifacts.
• Promote established quality engineering practices across the lifecycle.
• Troubleshoot defects with engineering teams to ensure release readiness.
• Expand automated test coverage and improve testing efficiency.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams and document quality metrics.
