Job summary

PCMI, LLC is seeking a hands-on Software Engineering Manager to drive technical direction, grow engineers, and ship high-quality software. You will balance people leadership with close-to-code contributions, set project milestones, and align work with business goals.

You will lead software teams, champion AI adoption, and ensure practices meet regulatory and security standards while collaborating with product management and QA to deliver scalable solutions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in computer science or related field or equivalent work experience.
• 7+ years of engineering experience and 3+ years in leadership.
• 8+ years leading multi-tier web services and SDLC best practices.
• Experience with CI/CD and DevOps tooling (Azure DevOps, TeamCity, Octopus).
• Experience with Azure cloud architecture and AI-assisted development tools.

Responsibilities

• Oversee planning, execution, and delivery of software projects with timelines and budgets.
• Provide technical guidance and enforce coding standards across the team.
• Champion AI across the SDLC to improve efficiency and quality.
• Improve system performance, conduct code reviews, and ensure security compliance.
• Mentor engineers and foster collaboration with product, QA, and operations.
